My abstraction juxtaposes the visual with the philosophical, the subjective with the universal. The intention is to examine the multifaceted, and often contradictory, nature of a human existential condition. Through the ever-evolving experimentation with color, texture and idea-emotion, I explore the dichotomies of being/becoming, fragmentation/wholeness and presence/absence. My art aims to ponder the volatility of meaning-making and psychological becoming as a means of destabilizing the rigid paradigms of knowledge and offer the new possibilities of interpretation.
In my aesthetic vocabulary, I also examine the borders/boundaries of perception and understanding as well as the limitations of memory and knowledge. My artwork is a story of transformation as she explores the oddities, banalities, peculiarities, and other "anomalies" of self. Inspired and necessitated by real life events and realizations, my art aims to invite the viewers on a journey to rethink or rediscover the meaningful facets in ourselves, our deeper feelings and thoughts about the self and the world, about memory, identity and experience.

Every painting is a dialogue with the viewer about life and human existence. Abstract images become the conduits of life and its diverse expressions: bold or lyrical,  composed or spontaneous, enigmatic or lucid.

With the experimental use of materials,  I prefer to work on canvas, wooden board, or plaster. I use acrylic paints and mixed media (photography, recycled materials, or found objects)  to create visual narratives, often in the form of collage, to tell stories of being, becoming, and change.
